Vancouver, B.C. – December 21, 2009 – With over a year of economic
turmoil in the history books and further uncertainty ahead, many young
people are witnessing first-hand the importance of having a financial
plan in place. Unfortunately, when seeking guidance to organize their
finances and save for the future, their resources are limited.
Nicola Wealth Management (NWM) is giving inexperienced investors in the
Vancouver area the platform they need to improve their investment knowledge
by continuing to offer Financial Mentorship sessions through 2010. Open
to anyone, these sessions are designed to help alleviate the stress of
being a financial novice by explaining the fundamentals of financial planning
and wealth building in an open and approachable format.
Featuring three recurring boardroom sessions, the series touches on key
aspects of financial planning, from budgeting and investment strategies,
to tax minimization and retirement planning. “Whether attendees are new
investors just starting their nest egg or business owners looking to improve
their wealth building, our goal is to arm them with good information,
answer their questions and give them the tools to build or improve their
financial plan,” says Jason Nicola, an advisor with NWM and a session
presenter. “Participants will discover tools and examples that demonstrate
the impact of employing strategies early on, rather than waiting until
later in life.”
The interactive sessions also provide direct access to NWM’s financial
planning professionals. “These sessions are a great experience because
we get to chat with people afterward, so they can ask us their questions
one-on-one,” notes Nicola. “We’ve had plenty of great feedback and a number
of people have found this unique opportunity to be quite valuable.”
The cost to attend is a suggested donation of $25 to a charity announced
before each session and, in turn, NWM donates their time. To register,
contact Lanie Collins at 604.739.6450 or lcollins@nicolawealth.com.
