Drawing on over 25 years of experience in the financial services industry, Michael is responsible for financial management, administrative operations and compliance at NWM. His past experience, including acting as senior vice president and managing director for one of Canada's largest financial institutions, is an asset to his roles as Chief Financial and Compliance Officer.
Michael holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Toronto, is a chartered accountant
, and in 2012 was awarded Business In Vancouver's BC CFO of the Year Award in the small private company category.
Mike is a longstanding member of the Canadian Ski Instructors' Alliance as well as the Arts Umbrella's Annual Campaign Cabinet. Married with two children, he enjoys hiking the Grouse Grind (though not as often as he should) and plays trombone in the Deep Cove Big Band as well as with "The Disclaimers” at the annual Battle of the Bar Bands at the Commodore.
