Richard Haisinger
IT Operations and Solutions Manager
Richard joined NWM in 1998 and assumed the IT Team lead position in 2005. In the years since, he has led a growing team of developers, network administrators, a web expert and numerous consultants in countless initiatives while providing systems support to an office that has more than doubled in size.
As team leader, Richard oversees all aspects of developing and implementing technology initiatives for NWM, including technology planning, budgeting, development, daily operations, and aligning technology with business strategy by integrating business processes with the appropriate technologies. He maintains existing enterprise systems, while providing direction in all technology-related issues in support of NWM’s business operations and core organizational values.
Outside the office, Richard’s passion for aviation and motor sports is eclipsed only by his affinity for his wife, Margarita. He is an avid participant in numerous competitive sports, including skiing, hockey, tennis and soccer; and enjoys an occasional fishing excursion for relaxation.
Already a BCIT alumnus, Richard is always looking for opportunities to expand his knowledge, and is in the process of completing the Bachelor of Technology Program at BCIT.
