Team and Position Summary

We are a fast growing company seeking another Advisor Support to assist with that growth. As a high performing Advisor support, you will be responsible for providing a consistently high level of administrative support in line with defined standards.

• To provide a consistent level of personalized client service to all active clients of the firm
• To assist Advisors with administrative support to maintain client service standards
• To follow all corporate and regulatory standards
• To enable the Advisors to meet and exceed their business plan objectives
• This role is located in Vancouver

Key Accountabilities

• Ensuring that client reviews are handled in accordance with NWM client service standards including managing the occurrence of review meetings and scheduling the meetings
• Assist with the preparation for client meetings in a timely fashion
• Process deposits and withdrawals
• Process internal transfers between client accounts
• Manage client RRSP, TFSA contributions and RIF payments
• Efficiently process SIP, SWP and distribution changes
• Ability to understand, interpret and act on PM Recommendations
• Assisting with cash balance management
• Manage the administrative requirements for unique accounts and investments such as IPP, RCA and PGF accounts and one-off investment products
• Handling all client service requests and following up to ensure requests are completed in a timely manner
• Understanding Compliance requirements and ensuring company/regulatory standards are met
• Efficiently prepare and process insurance applications and change forms
• Liaising with different departments to coordinate the requirements for each client
• Organize and maintain client information and files according to procedures
• Ensures that all administrative processes are followed
• Reduce the time the Advisor spends on client service, administration and meeting prep
• Liaise with clients and build a sense of trust
• Anticipate problems and solve proactively
• Competency in NWM product and service offerings (within 6 months of obtaining position)
• Stay abreast of industry trends

Qualifications and Experience

• Any industry related courses (CSC, CFP, Life License etc.) or in process of achieving
• Minimum of 3-5 years of industry experience, preferably in an advisor assistant role within a financial planning firm with high degree of client contact and exposure to both insurance and investment planning
• Proficiency in MS Word, Outlook and Excel
• Must be legally eligible to work in Canada for any employer
