Nicola Wealth Wins Wealth Professional Philanthropy and Community Service Award

Vancouver, BC – Nicola Wealth Management (Nicola Wealth) is proud to announce that we have been named this year’s recipient of the National Bank Financial Award for Outstanding Philanthropy and Community Service at the fourth Annual Wealth Professional Awards.

With a deep rooted emphasis on giving back, Nicola Wealth has always been an active member of the community, supporting its staff in their charitable efforts by forming Nicola Wealth Gives Back, the firm’s charitable giving committee. Within the firm, the charitable giving committee seeks to foster a culture of philanthropy; driving donation matching programs, payroll deductions and fundraising and awareness efforts. Primarily focusing on children’s charities, the committee works strategically to support local, national and international communities.

“Giving back to the community is a strong part of the culture of our firm, and our charitable efforts are driven by our generous staff,” said John Nicola, Chairman and CEO of Nicola Wealth. “I am very proud of all the members of the firm for their continued enthusiasm for community involvement and of the Charitable Giving Committee for driving our initiatives forward.

The firm supports multiple charities including the Canuck Place Children’s Hospice, SEVA Canada, The Sharing Farm and WE Charities.
